Crafted from premium aircraft-grade 7075 aluminium, this is our first modern non-titanium driver, engineered to be lighter while remaining exceptionally strong. A precisely machined collar enhances adjustability within a maximum moment of inertia (MOI) head, allowing golfers to fine-tune performance without compromising speed. The innovative oversized head shape prioritises stability and forgiveness, delivering outstanding consistency on off-centre strikes while maintaining impressive clubhead speed.
FACE BUILT FOR DISTANCE
Qi4D Max drivers feature a newly refined roll radius, promoting more consistent spin performance across a wide range of vertical impact locations. The 60x Carbon Twist Face™ represents a cutting-edge advancement, offering substantial weight savings alongside exceptional ball speed and improved consistency when compared to a traditional titanium face. For golfers seeking precise fitting data, the Qi4D Max can also be customised with reflective fitting markers.
ADJUSTABLE PERFORMANCE
The advanced Trajectory Adjustment System incorporates two interchangeable weights (13g and 4g), providing a highly efficient method of adjusting ball flight and spin characteristics. A 4° loft sleeve allows golfers to fine-tune loft, lie and face angle, ensuring optimised launch conditions tailored to individual swing requirements.
REAX™ SHAFTS
REAX™ shafts represent a revolution in shaft fitting, developed through the analysis of more than 11 million swings collected over 20 years. This data-driven approach enables golfers to quickly identify their rotation rate and select a shaft that best complements their swing profile. Improved shaft fitting encourages more centred contact, leading to increased speed, greater distance and enhanced accuracy. Drawing on Mitsubishi Chemical’s industry-leading materials and manufacturing expertise, these shafts are designed to perform across a wide variety of swing styles and player profiles.
TOUR-PROVEN TECHNOLOGIES
The enhanced cut-through Speed Pocket™ preserves ball speed and helps reduce spin on low-face strikes. Advanced CAD modelling has been utilised to produce a clean, powerful sound at impact — a defining characteristic of TaylorMade driver performance. Multi-Material Construction allows engineers to strategically position mass throughout the head, maximising speed, stability and overall performance.
SPECIFICATIONS
The Qi4D Max driver features a 460cc head and a swing weight of D4 across all loft options, with an adjustable lie angle ranging from 58° to 62°.
The driver is available in 9°, 10.5° and 12° lofts, each offered in both right- and left-handed models. All versions are built to a standard length of 45.75 inches.

The Qi4D Max driver is available with a selection of Mitsubishi REAX™ shafts to suit a wide range of swing types:
