With over 20 years at our shop at West Malling Golf Club and 35 years in the golf industry, Michael is a true asset to our business and a key figure in helping golfers of all levels elevate their game.
A global authority on Callaway and fitting
Michael began his journey as a Callaway staff player and ambassador in 2005. Through decades of dedication and service, he was awarded the prestigious title of Global Master Staff Ambassador in 2025.
By regularly attending the latest Callaway training courses, Michael ensures his knowledge remains at the cutting edge of equipment technology. Whether you are looking for a new driver or a full set of irons, you would have to search far and wide to find a fitter with more experience and insight.
Precision fitting with Trackman 4 technology
Michael’s fittings are built on a foundation of data and accuracy. Using the latest Trackman 4 technology, he provides comprehensive checks on:
- Shaft profiles and flex
- Lie angles
- Ball speed and clubhead speed
- Launch angles and dispersion patterns
As one of the few fitting centres in the South East to offer outdoor fittings, Michael believes seeing the actual ball flight is key to getting the best results. His clients leave not only with more yardage and consistency but also a much better understanding of their own data.

Beyond his fitting expertise, Michael is a highly commended golf coach who has worked with European Tour players. Despite his high-level experience, his approach remains refreshingly simple.
Michael is known for his friendly, relaxed, and affable demeanour, making even the most nervous beginners feel at ease. He specialises in simplifying the swing and removing the over-complications that often hold golfers back.
“The easiest way to help golfers improve is to simplify the game,” Michael explains. “Golfers have a habit of overcomplicating the swing, which can be detrimental. I love being able to share my experience and ensure people leave with a better understanding of their game.”
