With a combined 80+ years of experience between them, our team comes highly recommended by all who have benefitted from their expertise up until now.

This week, we’re going to introduce all of our professionals and detail their numerous strengths, so that you can rest assured that you’re in safe hands when you visit us.

Duncan has been a fully qualified PGA Professional for over 35 years, spending 30 of those years right here at West Malling. Now a highly respected and recognizable name in the golf industry, Duncan’s name is synonymous with our store and the high standards we offer our customers. Although not a teaching professional anymore, his years of expertise mean that he can offer advice to any customers in our store, where he is often found. His hands on approach to running the business adds that personal touch to our service, something you don’t find in many other golf stores.

Arguably the hardest working member of the team, Ashley has become an expert not only at custom fitting and teaching, but with buying for the store too. His particular expertise is buying for the ladies’ market, something which our store is incredibly well known for. Spending the last 20+ years here, Ashley plays a huge role behind the scenes in the shop’s success and has formed an excellent partnership with Duncan.

When it comes to his teaching, Ash is an incredibly skilled coach who has helped both beginners and experienced players improve their golf games. His simplification of the golfing technique makes understanding golf easy, outlining a simple foundation which doesn’t overcomplicate things. His teaching philosophy is especially popular with beginners, who might find the idea of starting out in golf a little daunting. Ashley is also a great problem solver, so whatever it is you’re struggling with, he’s sure to be able to find a solution.

By using the OnForm teaching app, Ashley can record your lessons and share them with you, so that you can not only revisit anything which he discusses with you but also see your own progress. It makes your solo practice sessions much easier too, as it gives you a place to revisit when you’re not sure what to practice. As with all of our team, Ashley is also an expert when it comes to helping customers find their perfect new clubs. A keystone in the success of the shop, Ashley is a great representation of what our team is all about – hard-working and knowledgeable people who want to help you to play your absolute best golf.

Few golf professionals can match the energy and enthusiasm that Michael brings to the job. Much like Ashley, Michael has been at Duncan Lambert Golf for over 20 years now and is a hugely popular member of the team with all of our customers. As with his enthusiasm and energy, few professionals can match up to Michael’s standards when it comes to custom fitting, which has cemented his place as one of the leading custom fitters in the whole country.

Callaway have recognized this by awarding him the title of Global Master Ambassador, one of only a handful to achieve this. He’s helped countless golfers to find their perfect clubs, utilizing our comprehensive fitting process and his TrackMan 4 unit to provide unparalleled knowledge and guidance. Whether you’re looking for a driver to find more fairways, irons to hit more greens or a complete change of your set, Michael will be on hand to make sure you’re investing in the best clubs for you. And don’t think that his expertise is limited to just Callaway either – he’s great with all of the major brands that we stock!

With us since 2018, Tom spent time in the US refining his coaching skills and has become an integral part of the team. Tom uses the Skillest app to offer not only in person, but also online lessons meaning that he has clients worldwide. With the ever changing technology within the golfing world, few coaches have utilized these advances better than Tom. His laidback personality is great for making even the most nervous golfer feel reassured and relaxed, hence why his lessons are so popular. Tom makes use of his TrackMan 4 unit not only in custom fittings but during his lessons too, using numbers to back up his teaching methods.

Tom teaches golfers of varying standards, but one thing can be said for all of his clients – they’ve all been able to improve their golf and find more enjoyment in the game since seeing Tom. Keep an eye out for him playing in any local tournaments too, as Tom often gets out on the course himself!

Our newest member of the team, Elliot is currently undertaking his PGA course to become a fully qualified professional. Whilst he is doing so, he is currently in charge of our junior coaching program as well as conducting custom fittings for high handicappers. A friendly face and someone who has a huge passion for golf, Elliot makes his junior lessons fun and engaging with an infectious enthusiasm. And when he isn’t teaching or fitting, you’ll almost certainly find him out on the golf course!
