The FootJoy D.N.A. Helix has been unveiled. With the help of some of the world’s leading golfers, FootJoy has created a lighter, more structured performance golf shoe.
FootJoy has expanded the D.N.A. family with the D.N.A. Helix shoe. The shoe offers more structure which stills offers the lightweight and flexibility of the D.N.A. This athletic model came as a result of direct feedback from Tour Players who were looking for more stability in the heel area. D.N.A Helix offers a completely new out-sole design.
A re-engineered Nitro-thin 3.0 TPU out-sole features a widened heel platform that increases the overall surface area, allowing a wider spread of the Soft-spikes Pulsar cleats for maximum grip throughout the swing. The new design means D.N.A. Helix is 38% more structured than D.N.A. 2.0.
FootJoy continue to utilize ChromoSkin leather from Pittards of England on the upper, which combines a premium soft feel with waterproof protection. The lack of membrane also makes it lighter and more breathable. The spikes in the sole are Translucent LP Pulsar and use the TourLock fastening system and there is a bit more of a pod style to the sole than the D.N.A. 2.0.
The D.N.A. Helix is available in three colours. In addition they also offer one colour in the Boa Style. The Boa closure system draws the foot down and back into the heel for a secure, comfortable and consistent fit.
The FootJoy D.N.A. Helix shoes come with a one-year waterproof warranty and will be available from October 2017. Here at Duncan Lambert Golf we stock a wide variety of FootJoy shoes, including different width fittings. If you’re unsure of your size then Chris is trained to perform FootJoy shoe fittings.
