view all articles

There are 3 MAVRIK Iron Models.

1) MAVRIK Irons

Callaway MAVRIK Irons will appeal to a wide range of players, especially those golfers looking to hit shorter irons into greens.

Q. What type of golfer are these designed for?

A. Quite simply every golfer, it’s the club-head that could be used by a beginner to a professional.

It’s the iron that Callaway would envisage everyone being able to enjoy, the other two models (Pro & Max) are most definitely aimed at a “certain type” of player with a wish list. MAVRIK knows no boundaries.

2) MAVRIK Pro Irons

The MAVRIK Pro Irons feature a more compact head shape, flatter lie angle and thinner topline that better players prefer for greater workability and control.

The technology in the Pro Iron is the same as the MAVRIK irons, you still benefit from:

Q. What type of golfer are these designed for?

A.The golfer who wants great looks without sacrificing distance.

The main difference is the look of the club-head from your set-up position. If you’re a player that doesn’t like looking down on a thick top edge but instead prefers the thinner top edge (like many bladed irons) then the MAVRIK Pro iron will be for you. The club-head offers pro-grade looks without compromising distance.

3) MAVRIK MAX Irons

MAVRIK MAX Irons were built for total distance with a larger body and a deeper CG for increased forgiveness and easy launch.

The technology in the MAX Iron is the same as the MAVRIK irons, you still benefit from:

Q. What type of golfer are these designed for?

A. The golfer who wants the easiest, most forgiving irons in the range; someone who thinks the game is difficult enough and wants help!

The larger body is more forgiving on off centre hits. The wider sole reduces turf drag so if you catch the ground a touch early, it won’t affect the shot anywhere near as much as traditionally slimmer soles. Deeper COG helps you gain more height, more distance and a greater vertical ball drop angle helping you stop the ball on the greens in firm conditions.
