We at Duncan Lambert Golf have some exciting news to bring you all. Mizuno have launched a new wedge to their tremendous range of products. The golfing world understand that its the short game that makes or breaks your scorecard. Whenever there’s a rumour of a new wedge in town, heads turn in curiosity..

The New Mizuno S5

Born from Mizuno’s forging factory in Hiroshima Japan, the S5 is build from 1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel.

Mizuno’s 30 years experience of forging has evolved into unmatchable quality within their forged products. 

Precise Distance Control – The Grain Flow Forging compresses and maintains a consistent grain through the neck and hosel to ensure material consistency throughout the club head. The material consistency provides the golfer with precise and consistent performance.

Versatile Sole Grinds – Mizuno understand that every golfer swings the golf club in their own unique way. With a wide variety of loft and bounce combinations every golfer is able to own a wedge custom built for their individual swing genetics. 

High Spin Through The Lofts – Each individual wedge is specifically designed to suit it’s shot requirements. Pairing the groove designs to the wedge loft has resulted in precision spin performance engineered to give the golfer the spin they need. 

A wider shallower groove is designed in the higher lofted wedges (54 – 62) whilst a deeper narrower groove is in the lower lofts (49 – 53). 

The new Mizuno S5 is available in Blue IP or White Satin. Custom fitting is also available across their wedge range. Don’t panic when deciding which wedge is right for you. Our PGA Professionals are fully trained to provide the knowledge and guidance you need to find the wedges best for you.
